Redesign, Rebranding, and Improved Resource Center for Hill-Rom

Hill-Rom is a leading manufacturer of medical technologies for the healthcare industry including hospital beds, patient lifts, and non-invasive therapeutic products.

The Problem

Hill-Rom’s aging catalog of sub-domains required a design refresh with consistent branding rendered on ANY device. Users had a hard time finding content in the Clinical Resource Center and it was difficult for administrators to track user activity and manage permissions.

Redesign and Branding

Each divisional sub-domain allows a product line to have a unique site structure and messaging that’s not buried in the navigation of an all-encompassing Hill-Rom Holdings homepage. Adage carefully designed the sub sites to fit the universal Hill-Rom brand standard while maintaining important unique functionality and user experience focused on the intended audience.

Each site features intuitive product overview pages to simplify product browsing, including photo galleries, video libraries and suggested accessories. Plus advanced filtering and sorting promotes further improved usability and product findability on ANY device.

Redeveloped Clinical Resource Center

The Clinical Resource Center (CRC) is a powerful support tool designed to provide healthcare professionals with current evidence, education, and tools so that they can make informed decisions and implement best practices on behalf of their patients and facilities.

The redeveloped CRC now features a searchable database including key references and resources related to Hill-Rom’s products and clinical programs. Due to the sensitive nature of some resources, the CRC requires an approved registration and has distinct user permissions for each resource

Integrations

The CRC is now integrated seamlessly with Salesforce. This saves valuable time in the lead generation process for Hill-Rom’s marketing and sales teams and in the registration process.

The integration also allows for account managers to easily view and approve requests for access.

User-Friendly CMS

Adage built Hill-Rom’s updated sites using Episerver content management system (now Optimizely). Episerver allows for easy block and template-based WYSIWYG editing for users of any experience level, as well as advanced functionality including A/B testing and visitor group personalization.

Hill-Rom realized an additional cost savings on development hours as the Adage team used Episerver to build page templates that were easily replicable across Hill-Rom’s many projects.
