Grupo Familia is a Colombian company owned by Essity, a leader in the hygiene and health market with over $200 billion in revenue annually. They have a presence in more than 12 countries across South America and the Caribbean.
The Problem: Multiple Training and Communication Channels
Grupo Familia leverages trade marketing, focused on B2B partners, to increase sales and subsequently offers training to their internal and external sales force on how to best market their products. They leverage multiple different channels to train and provide information to sellers and did not have a way to segment communication. Previously, people received every email which resulted in people missing the communications important to them.
Grupo Familia needed one place where it was possible to offer and track seller and distributor training, send segmented communications, view all individuals in the workforce, and review trade marketing efforts such as product placement. Since they make products for multiple brands, it was important to have an easy way to find and share information and roll out consistent training.

Adage built a single platform incorporates all of Grupo Familia’s sales channels to include retail, neighborhood, and company-owned store and distributor information as well as discounts, new products, guidelines, new protocols, training materials and more all in one place. The platform’s power comes from its data segmentation capabilities bringing together all the data from their multiple tracking channels.
We provided a full team including the crew master, the tech lead, developers, UX/UI professionals, and quality assurance lead to design and implement a web platform that met their communication needs and improved their sales.
