The Cleveland Orchestra was founded in 1918 by the pianist and impresario Adella Prentiss Hughes. The orchestra plays most of its concerts at Severance Hall; a 2,000-seat concert hall listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Problem
The Cleveland Orchestra was experiencing mobile seat selection challenges. They desired a product that could help them avoid turning away mobile ticket buyers and decrease bounce rates within seat selection.
The Cleveland Orchestra chose SmartSeat by Adage to tackle their ticketing challenges.
Enhanced Ticket-buying Experience
The Cleveland Orchestra provides ticket-buyers with a truly mobile, unrivaled user experience on ANY device. They also accept specialty seating requests including those for accessibility and location preference.
Highly Configurable Seat Maps
With simple drag and drop functionality, The Cleveland Orchestra can add custom seat maps and easily configure their venue for each performance.
Increased Conversion Rates
In addition to the key metrics The Cleveland Orchestra was targeting, the installation of SmartSeat provided additional unforeseen benefits.
We are no longer turning away mobile ticket buyers. We are converting people that traditionally would have left. Bounce rates from within seat selection have decreased by almost half.
