Fast-to-Market Website Redesign Solved with Umbraco

The Arthroscopy Association of North America is a professional association dedicated to improving patient outcomes through minimally invasive orthopaedic surgeries. The organization is comprised of over 5,000 orthopaedic surgeons and medical professionals across the globe. 

A New Website with a Tight Deadline

AANA came to Adage in need of a new website with a tight turnaround time with a goal of launching and unveiling their new site at their Annual Conference. Knowing that it needed to be completed in a few months, they came prepared with requirements, set expectations for their leadership, and prioritized communication with Adage.

Their goals for the new website focused on improving navigation, introducing a new look and feel to match their updated brand, engaging content, and designing a positive user experience. 

 After talking with leadership, AANA decided the new website needed the following requirements in terms of look and functionality:

  • Modular design
  • Simple
  • Hero Banner
  • Integrate with the iMIS AMS

Success with Umbraco

With a streamlined design process, Adage took all the information provided by AANA and recommended using a templated version of the Umbraco CMS. The templated version allowed for the teams to focus on content pop and branding earlier in the process.

Umbraco provides an easy and effective way to incorporate the AANA brand seamlessly through the website and meets their requirements. This included their use of a hero banner, incorporating a modular design, and being simplistic in style. 

Integrations and Launch

When it came to building the integration between the Umbraco site and iMIS, AANA relied on Adage’s robust association experience. It’s an integration that Adage has plenty of experience building, which was critical to completing the website on an accelerated timeline.

AANA launched its new website with much success and received positive feedback from both its leadership and members. Beyond following the designs, it pulls in features and functionalities for members and site visitors to find the information they need.
