I started Adage in my basement with my former partner and two employees in May of 2001 following the dot com bust. What started out as a desire to build web applications has now morphed into a full-service digital agency. At the core of every engagement is the need to produce a good, solid working code. We have successfully augmented that core ability with thoughtful, professional strategy and design services that allow our work to shine bright in everything we do. Today, Adage is a leader in servicing clients across many industries including arts and culture, associations, and B2B manufacturing. Reflecting back, none of this could be attained without people.
Adage started with 4 employees and continues to thrive to this day because of our dedicated, professional team (over 75 and growing!). Over 20 years, we have certainly seen a good number of people come and go. For some, it has been a short time, and for others a significantly long time. I owe significant gratitude to those employees who have been with Adage for 5, 10 and in some cases 15+ years. You are the glue that has made it possible to get where we are today.
I also want to thank all our former Adage employees. In one way or another, everyone who has worked here for any period of time has played a role in getting us to where we are and making us who we are.
Behind every employee lies a family. I want to thank you too. Sometimes we need to work late, take customer calls early, or travel to our customers that takes time away from you, their families. Thank you all.
Over the past 20 years, I have had the pleasure of interacting with and calling many organizations our customers from just about every industry. For each one of our customers, we view our role as critical in helping them succeed through what we refer to as Technology Advancing Purpose – using technology to help our customers achieve their mission and vision.
Today, digital is imperative and a necessary component for any organization looking to grow and expand. At Adage, we often find ourselves in the middle of the action and we love it! Helping our customers see through the multitude of options in front of them, providing a clear path, building, integrating, and launching a solution. Without our world-class customers doing cool and exciting things, Adage would not exist to help. So, thank you!
