Advancing Arts & Culture: What We Learned at TLCC 2025

As I wrap up my 17th Tessitura Conference, I’m reminded why TLCC is often called “summer camp for arts administrators.” I’ve had the opportunity to attend this conference as a Tessitura client, as staff, and now as a sponsor, and it is always one of the most energizing and rewarding weeks of the year.

At Adage, we’re proud to work with more Tessitura organizations than any other web firm, and TLCC is a perfect opportunity to connect with so many of our clients and friends in one place. It’s always exciting to hear what’s new across the sector, share the creative solutions we’ve been developing, and offer fresh perspectives on making the most of the Tessitura API, which we know inside and out.

At TLCC 2025 we were proud to showcase our new AI ticketing agent, an AI-powered website chat agent to help users find events and information, transforming online patron experiences and boosting ticket sales. It's built to address a high volume of repetitive customer service inquiries, allowing your staff to focus on more complex tasks. Said Leonor Alfonso, Director of Product for Adage:, "I'm very jazzed because everyone who got a chance to see our AI chat and ticketing agent demo was impressed by the ticketing and website search functionality. Attendees liked seeing how the agent answers questions from their own website, as well as our technological approach centered around portability, expandability, and flexibility. I’m looking forward to showing more people what we’ve built!” .

This year’s Conference sessions surfaced a lot of important conversations around web functionality, payments and cybersecurity. Andrew Paul, Software Developer Manager at Adage, noted an item that may be of interest to Adage’s TNEW clients: Customization Endpoints in TNEW for V16, which will allow us to make adjustments in the user's session, cart, or account. We’re already thinking about how to help our clients apply this in practical ways to drive engagement and revenue online.

My personal TLCC highlight was singing with the Tessiturians band on Wednesday night, which was even better alongside my incredibly talented colleague Heather Scholl. And, of course, it wouldn’t be TLCC without the annual Adage Party, this time held at Puesto Anaheim. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did.

Whether we talked at a session, during a one-on-one meeting, or just caught up over gallons of coffee, thank you for taking the time to connect with Adage at TLCC 2025. I’m heading home full of new ideas and inspiration—and already looking forward to TLCC 2026.

Every arts and culture organization has unique goals, challenges, and audiences. That’s why we focus on tailoring solutions that truly fit. If you’re curious about how Adage can help you reimagine patron experiences and drive results with Tessitura, let’s connect and start the conversation today.
