Adage Presence at INTIX

Sarah Bordson, Business Development Executive and Claire Young, Special Projects Manager represented Adage at our exhibit booth and attended many of the educational sessions. Both Sarah and Claire learned a lot from networking and attending sessions, and they have some interesting takeaways to share about the ticketing industry landscape. Adage also conducted a survey, gathering responses before, during, and after the show to learn more from ticketing industry experts. We discovered trends and frustrations we’re happy to share with the community. Plus, as a thank you, all survey respondents were entered to win a Fitbit Ionic and we’re excited to announce the WINNER!

Educational & Networking Takeaways

The educational opportunities at INTIX 2018 were abundant. We learned about innovations from ticketing platforms that enable tracking and security for original ticket buyers vs. actual attendees. We also came across new technology like downloadable apps for captioning with multi-lingual capabilities.

Survey Results

Mobile Seat Selection – Over 50% of survey respondents say they are muddling through or providing a poor mobile seat selection experience. Not one respondent said they provide patrons with a positive and seamless mobile ticket-buying experience. Nearly 40% of patrons are purchasing tickets on a mobile device with almost 70% performing their initial search on mobile. Remove barriers for your patrons to make mobile-ticket buying an easy, seamless experience. Learn how.

Venue Configuration – Most respondents expressed they are unable to configure venues, with over 75% of respondents disclosing they struggle to set up their own venues. As venue seating arrangements change, box-office management need a more efficient way to modify configurations. Read about SFJazz who is using SmartSeat by Adage to easily change seat configuration for each performance.

Platform Integration – Survey respondents noted the integration of multiple platforms as a major frustration in the ticketing industry. Organizations are unable to understand the persona and buying behaviors of each patron due to separate back office tools. For example, if your subscriber and donor databases are separate you are unable to solicit donations or send relevant marketing campaigns to prime patrons. If you are faced with the same challenge, let us help!

Winner – Congratulations to the winner of a Fitbit Ionic from Infinite Energy Center! We’d also like to thank everyone who participated in our survey and everyone who attended and exhibited at The International Ticketing Association Conference of 2018.
