2017 has been a busy year for us! In addition to hiring seven new people to our Adage team, we’ve hosted and attended a number of events highlighting some of the latest technology trends, won an award or two, and launched some impressive new technology.
And we’re just getting started. Although we’ve crossed the year’s halfway point, we have some big plans for the rest of the year—including the upcoming Tessitura conference and a full-scale redesign to the Adage Technologies website (with a few added features specifically for our customers).
2017 is shaping up to be a great year, and we’re happy to have you on board!
A Look Back
Adage’s 2017 Awards (So Far)
For the seventh straight year, the Daily Herald Business Ledger has named Adage Technologies one of the “Best Places to Work in Illinois” in 2017. Companies are evaluated on their workplace policies, practices, and demographics; employees are also surveyed on their experience. See our full blog post here.
Adage has also earned its sixth consecutive “Best and Brightest” award from The National Association of Business Resources. This award is given to companies that have established themselves as industry leaders and trendsetters.

Personalization and Search Event
Earlier this year, our sales team hosted a live webinar on the “Elements of Personalization and Search,” which they had identified as two of the most important best practices in digital web strategy. Some of the main takeaways from this event include the following:
- Less than 10% of organizations with eCommerce offerings believe they are highly effective at personalization, and nearly one-third report having limited or no capability to support personalization efforts.
- 43% of visitors navigate immediately to the search box on a website—searchers are 2 to 3 times more likely to convert compared to non-searchers.
Read more about personalization in search in this blog post.
ROCKS Digital Marketing Conference
Back in June, we sent our marketing team to the 2017 ROCKS Digital Marketing Conference to field some questions about marketing automation. Adage has only recently partnered with Real Magnet, a marketing automation provider, and will be training customers on how to implement marketing automation into their existing strategy.
We also had the opportunity to hear from some really great speakers in the digital marketing space. If you’re looking for the latest trends and challenges in digital marketing, read our takeaways from the ROCKS Conference.
Things to Come
#TLCC2017
The 2017 Tessitura Learning & Community Conference will be held in San Diego, CA from August 13th to the 17th, and is the place where arts and culture, business, and technology converge. We’re very much looking forward to this opportunity to network with executives, marketers, and other experts who are dedicated to giving the arts and culture industry a digital upgrade.
(And if you’re looking for Adage Technologies, you can find us at our booth or our Networking Party at Buster’s Beach House on Monday, Aug 15. Come say hi!)
Real Magnet User Group (RMUG)
As we mentioned before, Adage has partnered with Real Magnet to provide clients with marketing automation services. So on September 28th, we will be attending the 4thAnnual Real Magnet User Group to gain in-depth knowledge and hands-on training of Real Magnet’s marketing automation platform. Our biggest goal with this conference is to get a better grasp on how to help our clients better use and integrate their marketing technology stack, as well as break down departmental silos. To learn more about Real Magnet, visit their website.
A Fresh, New Adage Site (TBD)
Recently we noticed that the Adage Technologies website was missing some important features and functionalities that would not only help people understand who we are and what we’re about, but would also assist and inform our customers of new developments. “Now,” we thought, “if only we had someone who could redesign our site.”
Thankfully, in the words of Lennon and McCartney, “every one of us is all we need.” Though the site launch is still TBD, we’re excited to announce a more user-friendly version of our site is in the works, complete with a secure customer portal.
